"It had been a while since I’d been back to this restaurant which I was happy to see has also opened up a more tapas oriented wine bar across the street. The food was excellent and creative. My braised white asparagus starter was tasty and not excessively fibrous. I had the skate fish which was interestingly stripped off its cartilage and re-assembled with a lovely sauce and chorizo chips for texture contrast. My friend ordered the confit veal that had been slow cooked for 7 hours which tasted fantastic ! I absolutely loved my dessert which was a strawberry rhubarb tart with an amazing sorbet. The pistachio financier was also really really good ! As always excellent wine list, well paced service and warm environment. Highly recommend."

"What a positive surprise. I found the place on Michelin guide, and as usual this didn't disappoint me; i visited Le Deux for a work dinner with an important client. We had an excellent 2 courses meal with a very nice dessert. Great quality fish, and french dishes "revised" in a modern way. I particularly appreciated the fact that, unlike in other places, the food is not "drowned" in sauces, making it easier to taste the "real" quality food. The staff is incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful. The value-for-money is really, really on point. Good atmosphere, friendly but discrete and simple. "When I arrived, they were near closing and I had no idea. The waiter still allowed me to dine and I opted for the prix fixe lunch menu for $25. I didn’t ask for a translation of the menu, so every dish was a sweet surprise. I started off with a light soup, a hearty vegetable and fish medley and a sweet deep dish cookie with ice cream. I enjoyed every single bite. Even though they were closing, I didn’t feel rushed and the waiter was quite attentive. If you’re in the 11th and want a light but very filling lunch, I highly recommend."
